Milwaukee's holiday cheer is about to get juiced up Thursday with the ceremonial tree lighting and switch flipping that starts the Holiday Lights Festival. First, head to Red Arrow Park by 4:30 p.m. to see the giant Christmas tree as it's lit for the first time, then to Pere Marquette Park for a 5:30 p.m. fashion show and a switch-flipping ceremony at 6 p.m. Fireworks, dancing, singing, Santa, cookies, hot cocoa and even free Jingle Bus rides will round out the evening.
