Positive Power: Summer of Peace Citywide Youth Rally

A youth-led initiative for community unity, positive edutainment, and non-violence, Summer of Peace is an annual gathering to demand peace through dynamic dance, music, art exhibits and conversation. The day begins with a 9 a.m. "Peace Summit" and continues with an 11 a.m. Parade led by the Milwaukee Public Theatre, then the Milwaukee Peacemaker Recognition Ceremony and the SOP "Stop the Violence" Youth Performance Showcase.

The Summer of Peace Initiative presents a collaborative and colorful day full of anti-violence information and resources from more than 25 area organizations.
