Brewers Make the Playoffs!

After a long, arduous, and at the end, sometimes painful-to-watch battle, the Brewers cinched their spot in the 2008 Wild Card race on Sunday evening as they beat the Chicago Cubs 3-1, and the Florida Marlins beat the New York Mets 4-2. The Brewers and the Mets had been tied 89-72 going into the games on Sunday, but the Brewers pulled ahead, making this their first playoff appearance since 1982.
