New Film Group to Screen "The Milwaukee Show"

Tuesday October 14, 2008

Milwaukee Film, the group that took the place of the defunct Milwaukee International Film Festival, is wasting no time in making its presence known. Their first film event, called "The Milwaukee Show," will take place on October 23 at the Oriental Theater, and feature 10 short works created by local filmmakers. The program will run about 90 minutes.

"The Milwaukee Show" will be the first of two events by the film organization to take place this fall. Milwaukee Film also hopes to revive a version of the Milwaukee International Film Festival for 2009.
