Great Circus Parade & Festival

Saturday July 11, 2009

If you haven't yet gone to the lakefront to check out the Great Circus Parade Festival, I highly suggest that you do. Also, be sure to watch the Great Circus Parade itself, which will be winding its way through downtown beginning at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow, Sunday, July 12. This spectacular two-hour event will feature 50 authentic circus wagons, 350 horses, 30 musical bands and novelties, exotic animals, 150 clowns and more than 450 riding and walking performers dressed in circus attire.

Take a look at some Great Circus Parade Festival Images to get an idea of what this event is all about.

I had such a great time at the Circus Parade! It was so spectacular.

Alverno College has a fantastic summer program for Tweens and Teens. It has been running since 1992. I am always so happy to send my kids there! I really recommend it. I have been sending my kids there for years. The only think that I don’t like is that they recently raised the bar for age groups. Anyone looking activities for their kids should really check out Alverno’s program at: http://www.alverno.edu/community_friends/tweens_teens.html . Add a Comment
