Badger Wins Wisconsin License Plate Design Poll

The Department of Natural Resources announced the results of an online survey to help gauge the popularity of four potential designs for a new Wisconsin Endangered Resources license plate today. More than 23,000 votes were cast for the potential plates, and the badger design won by a landslide.

Poll results:

• Badger: 6,167 votes for 68%
• Great blue heron: 2,890 votes for 12%
• Eastern bluebird: 2,846 votes for 12%
• Red-headed woodpecker: 1,905 votes for 8%
