Milwaukee Energy Assistance

This year, it may be easier for Milwaukee families to qualify for energy assistance. The Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program (WHEAP) is now working under new income guidelines making it easier to qualify. Families with incomes at or below 60% of the state medium income -- approximately $45,000 for a family of four -- may qualify for energy assistance to help pay their energy bills.
