Four of Milwaukee's most popular cultural destinations offer free admission on specific days throughout the year. Visit the Milwaukee Public Museum, the Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory (i.e. the Domes), the Milwaukee Art Museum and the Milwaukee County Zoo for free! Tip: remember to bring valid identification noting Milwaukee County residency when you visit the Domes and the Milwaukee Public Museum, and also the Zoo on holidays, as County residency is a requirement of free admission.
Milwaukee Art Museum
Free on the first Thursday of every month for all visitors.
Milwaukee Public Museum
Free general admission for County residents every Monday, plus $1 off general admission Tuesday - Sunday (excludes admission to special exhibits).
Mitchell Park Domes
Free general admission for County residents every Monday from 9 a.m. - noon (excluding major holidays).
Milwaukee County Zoo
Free admission days for all visitors in 2012 include: January 5, February 2, March 2, April 6, November 2 and December 7. Milwaukee County residents with I.D. also receive free admission on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
