- Sturgeonfest

What: A public restocking of the Milwaukee river and celebration of a prehistoric fish.

- Heat it Up! Milwaukee’s Bloody Mary and Chili Challenge!
When: 10 - 1 p.m. Saturday, October 6
What: Sample a variety of local chilis and bloody marys and vote on your favorite of each.

How much: $2 per sample of chili, $4 per bloody mary sample, $20 for unlimited samples of each
- Brady Street Pet Parade
When: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sunday, October 7
What: Critters of all shapes and sizes take to the streets for this annual pet parade and pet blessing.

How much: $10 - $15 per pet, registration to benefit the Wisconsin Humane Society
- Wolf Awareness Day

What: A day devoted to learning about all things wolf, including a chance to participate in a howling contest.
