South Shore Park is a relatively small, narrow park along the Lake Michigan shoreline south of downtown Milwaukee in the Bay View neighborhood. A stone breakwater protects the shoreline in South Shore Park, and yachts from the South Shore Yacht Club, located on the north end of the park, can be seen bobbing in the clear water throughout warm weather months, making the park a great place to picnic, walk or take photos.
South Shore Park contains an interesting pavilion located in the middle of the park. Originally built as a bath house in the 1930s, the pavilion is now a popular rental hall.
